3d contents are getting more detailed these days. I sometimes saw hairstyles with a lot of fine plain polygons. Are they Fibermesh?
Zbrush’s articles hit when I searched for Fibermesh on the Internet. It seems that it is a function to generate the Fur in Zbrush. Many 3D programs also have such a function.
DAZ characters often have their own eyebrows of Fibermesh. I don’t like models with lots of polygons. My old Mac has difficulty to edit such items. But this can be used like Fur on older versions of Daz Studio. I try it.
I drew Pranx 2’s eyebrows with my 3d program (not Zbrush) and exported them as an OBJ file. Editing these weight maps with Poser was awkward as I expected. But I found it possible to make something like these.
I’m not good at styling of fur… I still need training.

I wonder whether tiny characters like Pranx need such details.

Thanks 🙂 I’m learning how to control Fur now.
